Power Amplifier Measurements
Engineers and technicians characterizing amplifiers rely on Copper Mountain Technologies (CMT) VNAs to make their measurements. Boonton has partnered with CMT to enable their customers to calibrate the output power of their VNAs. CMT users simply connect a RTP5000 series sensor to a USB port on PC controlling the Copper Mountain Technologies VNA, go to the VNA calibration menu, select calibration source, pick the Boonton sensor listed, and then run the calibration routine. Boonton RTP5000 series sensors are compatible with the CMT S5045, S7530, S5065, S5085, and S5180B VNAs. Use Boonton RTP Power Meters to perform a power calibration on CMT VNAs. Booton RTP Power Meter plug-in is available for download here.

IMPORTANT
Due to changes in Boonton’s API, the Boonton RTP Power Calibration Plug-in is not compatible with the latest version of the Boonton Power Analyzer Software. Currently the plug-in will work with v3.2.4.0 of the Boonton Power Analyzer Software which could be downloaded here. This version requires the IVI components from the IVI foundation to be installed first. The IVI components required are available from the IVI Foundation. The compatibility issue will be resolved as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
